In recent times we have been seeing a lot of attention paid to such
things as "climate change", "eco-density" and "sustainability". At Springbank
Development Corp. we believe that while it is very positive that these
important issues are being discussed, it is more important to act on them.
In 2005 we decided that were going to change the way we build. We
wanted to leave a smaller footprint on the earth we occupy and we wanted to
make our homes healthier for our buyers. We will admit that we really didn't
know how we were going to go about this so we started by investigating existing
"green" building programs. After considering several alternatives we decided
that we would become members of Built Green BC. For a complete description of

As member of this program, we are excited about building homes
healthier homes that have a lower environmental impact and provide long term
value to our customers.
